Viewing, Test Driving, and Buying a ZENN
Electric Cars of Albuquerque, LCC, shares a car lot and an office building with Mr. Mario Simone of Sundance Motors. Sundance sells a variety of used cars and trucks. We are located at 9701 Central Ave NE, and generally are open from 9am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. Additionally, Paul Watson will meet you at the lot on Sundays by appointment.
Electric cars of Albuquerque's Managing Member, Dr. Paul J. Watson often will be at the lot, but not always. He also works on the faculty at the University of New Mexico, Department of Biology & Religious Studies Program as a behavioral ecologist and evolutionary psychologist, and so has teaching and other academic duties.
Mr. Lamon Brantley works with Sundance and Electric Cars of Albuquerque as an independent contractor salesman; he is consistently present during normal business hours. Lamon is the gentleman to touch base with if Paul Watson is not present when you visit, but you can always call ahead to (505) 681-3391, and Paul will try to be at the lot at a convenient time for you. Lamon, however, can answer many questions about ZENN's, tell you about his own experience driving them, distribute literature, and also offer test drives at his discretion. Mr. Brantley can also take deposits to reserve vehicles. Normally, you'll need to meet with Paul Watson to finalize paperwork and transfer of title for a purchase off the lot, or to complete the ordering of a car from the ZENN factory.
There usually should be at least 2-3 ZENN cars on display at the lot. All occupy clearly marked spaces – two on the far Central Ave (south) edge of the lot, and up to two or three displayed in spaces directly to the south of the ZENN office, at the lot's western Erbbe Street entrance.
If you bring a vehicle that you wish to trade in, Mr. Mario Simone may be able to help you directly by buying it, or he may have advice about an independent used car dealer that will give you a fair price for your trade-in car. You may call Sundance Motors at 505-291-9701.
Our dedicated ZENN office occupies the west end of the lot’s office structure. Our doors are conspicuously signed and you are always welcome to look for us there. There is literature on the doors. If that door is locked and nobody responds to a knock, use the front entrance and ask for Lamon. Paul usually can be present too if you let us know ahead of time that you wish to visit! Just call 505-681-3391, or make an appointment via e-mail (pjw@zenncarsabq.com). We will do our best to arrange a good meeting time for you!
Again, Mr. Lamon Brantley (pictured above) is present during all normal business hours, 9:00 - 5:00 pm,
and is well prepared to help you if owner Paul Watson cannot be present.
Sometimes, especially within the core Albuquerque area, we may be able to bring a ZENN NEV to your home or place of business for you to examine and test drive.
We can also facilitate 100% financing at 6% interest through a ZENN Motors Company program, although we encourage you to first investigate financing via your preferred bank or credit union.
We highly recommend visiting New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.
Electric Cars of Albuquerque, LLC does not handle financing or insurance "in-house."
However, we are equipped to accept personal checks and major credit cards.
